Baptist Hospital offers six new private LDRs (combined Labor, Delivery, & Recovery rooms) that are spacious and well appointed for you and your family's comfort.
Each LDR includes a walk-in shower with adjustable hand held shower massage. Two jacuzzi tubs are available for comfort in early labor. Updated technology allows you to be up and active while the childbirth staff safely monitors you and your baby.
After delivery you and your family may bond with your newborn in the LDR. A specially trained nursery staff is present 24 hours a day to care for your newborn. Our newly renovated newborn nursery is large and well equipped to provide your baby with special care should it become necessary. Our new private postpartum rooms offer optimal comfort and security. To encourage family bonding, sleeping accomodations are available for a family member. Baptist Hospital is here to help you have a birth experience that is tailored to your wishes.
