The Women's Board supports the Baptist health Care foundation in its mission to improve health and umnad services in northwest Florida and south alabama. It does so by raising funds through a variety of activities: an annual fashion show, a Denim & Rhinestones ball, multivple jewelry and specialty sales and the operation of two gift shopes, one on the ground floor of Baptist Hospital and other at the main entrance to Baptist Medical Towers.
Money raised by the Women's Board supports health care for the working poor, provides scholarships to nursing students, funds speech therapy for needy children, purchases wigs and prostheses for cancer survivors and help purchase new technologies and medical equipment for Baptist Health Care facilities.

Partner with a group of dedicated women who have been faithfully
meeting the health care needs of our community for 30 years!
The Women’s Board has truly made a difference in the lives
of many here on the Gulf Coast. In fact, The Women’s Board
has made such a difference that they were recognized as an “Outstanding
Philanthropic Organization” by the Association of Fundraising
Professionals.
The Women’s Board sponsors the region’s premiere fashion show, as well as the highly successful “Denim & Rhinestones” Ball. Additionally, The Women’s Board runs The Pillars Gift Shops at Baptist and sponsors various jewelry and specialty sales throughout the year.
Through their efforts, The Women’s Board has raised more
than $1,200,000 in support of various health care programs. The
Women’s Board has provided nursing scholarships for students,
speech therapy for needy children and prostheses and wigs for cancer
survivors.
Through the combined efforts of hundreds of women performing thousands
of hours of volunteer service over a period of time spanning 30
years, our community has had access to better health care, and
as a result, a better quality of life.
Memberships are open to any woman who wants to serve her community. Women's Board members receive a discount at the Baptist Hospital Towers gift Shops and meet with like-minded women at quarterly luncheon programs focused on the needs and interests of women.
