Do you have Peripheral Vascular Disease?
Do you have pain in your lower extremities when you walk or at night when you are resting?

Baptist Hospital Clinical Research Department is seeking volunteers to participate in a study to treat leg pain using an investigational medication.

The study focuses on intermittent claudication, a condition that causes muscle aches or cramps in the leg calves or buttocks that occur with walking and go away with rest. Selected participants must agree to outpatient clinic visits at Baptist Hospital eleven times over 5 months.

    Qualified participants will receive:  
  • Study medication
  • Routine laboratory tests
  • Study-related physical exams by a physician
  • Treadmill testing
  • EKG/blood pressure checks
  •  

To Qualify

People age 40 and older who have experienced, for at least six months, leg pain while walking may be candidates. If you are interested in learning more about this research study or have questions regarding your possible participation, contact:
