Professional Services in an Outpatient Setting

Individual counseling for children, teens and adults.

Group counseling in the areas of anxiety (panic attack), depression, anger management, parenting, divorce, women's issues, trauma-related disorders and others.

Evaluations, both psychiatric and psychological, for all ages.

Assessment and treatment for chemical dependency.
Special Treatment Programs
ADD/ADHD
Research indicates that attention deficit disorder can run in families. When a child shows symptoms of ADD/ADHD, an adult family member may have the same symptoms. The Center for Personal & Family Development offers diagnosis, treatment and help for all ages.
Depression Treatment
State-of-the-art help for individuals with depression is available. Treatment focuses on educating individuals about ways to manage the symptoms of depression by changing their thoughts and behaviors. Medication is prescribed as necessary.
EAP Services
Individuals who receive counseling services through a Baptist Health Care Employee Assistance Program see a professional at The Center for Personal & Family Development. Talking with a professional counselor often can make things go better at work and at home.
Confidentiality
Your treatment at The Center for Personal & Family Development is a private matter and will be treated confidentially. Information about your treatment will be released only through your written consent, in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Fees
The Center for Personal & Family Development is eligible for insurance reimbursement under most health insurance policies where mental health services are covered. The professionals are credentialed to provide services under many area Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs) and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). The Center for Personal & Family Development is an approved CHAMPUS/TRICARE provider.
Appointments
Outpatient therapy appointments can be made Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Fridays, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
